- Mr. Tageson is a principal and co-founder of Eightfold Real Estate Capital. He has more than 29 years of real estate financing and structuring experience.
Prior to forming Eightfold, he served as Director of Capital Markets at LNR Partners, (“LNR”), the Real Estate Finance and Servicing Group of LNR Property, where his primary responsibilities involved portfolio management, hedging, secondary trading and new structured product development. Mr. Tageson was responsible for portfolio management and oversaw the day to day operations of the commercial real estate debt fund.
Previously, Mr. Tageson served as a Vice President for Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, developing a European Asset Securitization Group in the London office. His responsibilities included presenting deals to potential clients, structuring transactions and coordinating rating agencies, legal, tax and accounting. In addition, he was responsible for the marketing, pricing and closing of the transactions.
Mr. Tageson also served on the New York trading desk of Nomura Securities International, Inc., where his responsibilities included working with rating agencies, bankers, traders and sales to structure CMBS transactions, as well as several other asset types. He began his career in the Ernst & Young Kenneth Leventhal Real Estate Group, working primarily in the CMBS and collateralized mortgage obligation arena.
Mr. Tageson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from Arizona State University.
