- Mr. Malone is the General Counsel of Eightfold Real Estate Capital. He has more than 14 years of in-house legal experience.
Prior to joining Eightfold, Mr. Malone served for over 14 years in various roles at ACA Financial Guaranty Corporation (ACA), most recently as General Counsel and Chief Operating Officer (COO). During his career at ACA, he helped to oversee and structure the winddown of a $7.3 billion portfolio of asset-backed securities. As COO, he was responsible for the operations and management of ACA’s various divisions. As General Counsel, he oversaw various legal matters for ACA including maintaining compliance with several regulators, assisting with portfolio management efforts, negotiating and documenting transactions, loan workouts and restructurings, managing several large-scale litigations and overseeing all corporate governance.
Mr. Malone received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University and a Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law.
