- Mr. Galvez is a Senior Accountant at Eightfold Real Estate Capital. He has 22 years combined experience in financial services, Banking, Real Estate accounting and Property Management. Prior joining Eightfold Real Estate capital in March 2021 he was employed by Metro 1 (Tony Cho affiliated companies) for 3 years as Senior Property accountant assisting the CFO and CEO in company brokerage, accounting, financial reporting, investment operations and Property Management leading efforts in two occasion as acting Controller. Prior to this, Mr. Galvez worked 2 years as Staff Accountant for Commodore Realty, INC a private company in Key Biscayne owning several grocery-anchored shopping centers with focus in accounts payables and receivables, commercial lease administration, and timely rent collection. Prior, he attained 10 years commercial property management, accounting operations and sales experience in BHI Realty LLC and progressive 4 years Risk Management experience in Transatlantic Bank as Staff Auditor (acquired by Sabadell Bank ) and Frist Bank of Miami as Internal Auditor (acquired by Apollo Bank) conducting risk management assessment and operational internal audits engagement greatly contributing to internal controls evaluations , improving banking processes and operations, mitigating business loss and ensuring compliance with Bank policies and banking regulations and reporting to the Board of Directors. Mr. Galvez joined Charles Schwab Inc Treasury and Equities Settlement Operations Team in Jersey City New Jersey in 1999 while attending Mercy college and worked for the Fortune 500 company 2 years facilitating timely trading settlements and SEC compliance before relocating to Miami in 2001.
